At the Parish Council Meeting (PC) on Wednesday the District Councillor Darrell Pulk updated the PC on the steps that Bassetlaw District Council are taking to assist the Parish in dealing with the problem of dog fouling. You will likely have received the flyer in Spotlight and will be aware of the patrols being mounted by BDC’s Enforcement Team WYSE in and around the village.
In addition Darrell reported that arrangements had been made for BDC’s Dog Warden (Tina) to spend time in Sutton to talk to dog owners about the issue. The extent of the problem can be seen on our Hot Squats page.
Tina will be in attendance with Darrell in Sutton on Monday 27th March from 10.00 with an abundance of poo bags and will be available to check microchips. If you are around on Monday 27th you will find them at the entrance to the footpath next to the Church, the “Mary Dunn” footpath.
